The gadget to organize your family life, some cool features and fairly priced at £149.00. Im sure some families will find this a great tool, however we think most will stick with the fridge door
Review: We took delivery of the much awaited o2 Joggler yesterday. The joggler is being pitched as the fridge door replacement.. not literally of course.. but typically the fridge door is where a lot of people leave their daily reminders or notes to the rest of the family.. well not in our house, anybody sticks a posti note on our fridge it will probably get eaten!
Anyway the o2 Joggler is supposed to be the ultimate family organiser, you can set reminders, appointments, birthdays etc.. you can share photos, synchronise calendars, listen to music & even look at the latest news & traffic reports.. all sounds great yeah..??
hmm.. not quite, not sure about the rest of you… we have 4 computers in our house.. & i’m pretty sure that’s typical of many households these days.. especially families with kids in college or university.. being connected to the net 24/7 is pretty much a must for most 14/20 year olds. What I mean is.. the technology is already there to do this sort of stuff.. we don’t send each other email reminders or have shared calendars, so are we likely to do it on this…? to be honest, i just can’t see it.. quick reminders will still continue to be left on pieces of scrap paper, tapping 50 words into this 7inch screen is just too much of a bind for our lot.. + the notice board is quite a piece of art in our kitchen.. it would be a shame to see it replaced with a gadget.

i love my joggy! just wish it was battery operated or would sit on a docking station.. being wired up is soooo last century..
All my family already have Google calendars – do I have to use O2’s service? Can it sync up with Google?
It seems O2 strongly recommend to use O2 calendar at O2 Joggler but there are some disadvantages like as follows.
1. O2 Joggler cannot create O2 calendar.
You should have PC, O2.co.uk accout and calendar creation via PC before use of O2 calendar at O2 Joggler which means O2 Joggler user with no PC cannot use O2 calendar.
2. O2 Joggler cannot add new member for O2 calendar.
You have to use PC for add new member.
3. There is no popup reminder for registered schedule at O2 Joggler.
4. You cannot set the end date/time for schedule.
5. Receive reminder, view/update schedule by mobile is only for O2 modile. Non-O2 mobile cannot use these.
6. O2 calendar does not have e-mail remider.
7. No export/import the calendar data for other calendar.
8. No coordination functionality with other WEB service like as calendar + map.
9. O2 calendar cannot be use at off line.
10. Like as O2 account name, you cannot create same O2 calendar name which somebody else already use.
11. You cannot use space in O2 calendar name.
12. O2 iPhone should have special version of O2 calendar but not. Does O2 suggest to O2 iPhone user to use Google calendar?
13. You cannot create secret schedule. All member of your O2 calendar can see your all schedule.
