No software was installed, no hardware changes were made, the only USB device attached was a mouse which worked fine. I only used wi-fi internet, so no modems were even attached to it. Then we get an error with the disk and it won't start at all. Dell are sending out a tech to replace the hard drive. I have an Acer laptop and it's a piece of junk, and I thought Dell would be a step up. Turns out they are crappier than Acer. I'd be happier if they gave me all of my money back. this thing is crap! Now I am completely disheartened... received it, was faulty so sent it back they said they'd repair it and give it back to me asap. They hadn't even attempted to fix it it seems! The same problems again and again. Rubbish service, faulty laptop. I heard that the 6 cell is now available which is great, i get approx 4 hrs usage on the standard battery, which isn't really good enough, it will be interesting to see how the battery life lasts in the next 6 months, anything under 4hrs will make the netbook completely unusable for me.
