Dell Mini 10 Netbook Review

dell mini 10 netbook reviewOk, its Sunday morning, me & Karen are sitting in Starbucks reviewing the Dell Mini 10 netbook… there are plenty of green eyes looking at our sexy little glossy black machine..

4 cappuccino’s & 2 blueberry muffins later & we love playing with the new Dell Mini 10 netbook; it’s going to be hard to give this one back. We can’t find much fault (if any) with the mini 10, its sleek modern looks & more than capable processor make this a pleasure to use..

Summary: All in all a very nice netbook – it’s definitely worth considering, great for everyday web browsing & editing the odd document… it’s no laptop replacement, but just has the right amount of bells & whisltles to make it one of the top netbooks available. We ranked it 5 out of 5 In our tests.. great job Dell!

I have the mini 10 with a 3 cell battery pack. I heard that the 6 cell is now available which is great, i get approx 4 hrs usage on the standard battery, which isn’t really good enough, it will be interesting to see how the battery life lasts in the next 6 months, anything under 4hrs will make the netbook completely unusable for me.

Was eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new Dell mini 10 a couple of weeks ago. Now I am completely disheartened… received it, was faulty so sent it back they said they’d repair it and give it back to me asap. They hadn’t even attempted to fix it it seems! The same problems again and again. Rubbish service, faulty laptop. Not impressed, and I was so looking forward to a shiny new netbook :(

I LOVE, ADORE, AM ATTACHED, IN LOVE, AMAZED, (DID I MENTION I LOVE) THIS ”ELEGANT” CLASSY MINI 10. IT IS AMAZING, WORDS CANT DESCRIBE IT. IT IS AMAZING. AMAZING WEBCAM, NICELY FLATTLY BUILT INTO THE LAPTOP. I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GETTING ALL THESE BAD REVIEWS FROM. IT IS 6 HOURS BATTERY, TRUST ME. I LOVE MY NETBOOK. I GOT MY DAUGHTER ONE (PINK) SHE IS ATTATCHED TO IT SO MUCH, ITS HER NEW BFF. SHE LOVES THAT ITS SHINY AND LOVES CHATTING TO HER FRIENDS WHEN SHE IN MCDONALDS. 5 STAR RATING FOR THIS BABY.

We used this netbbok 4 times in 2 weeks. No software was installed, no hardware changes were made, the only USB device attached was a mouse which worked fine. I only used wi-fi internet, so no modems were even attached to it.

Then we get an error with the disk and it won’t start at all. Dell are sending out a tech to replace the hard drive.

I have an Acer laptop and it’s a piece of junk, and I thought Dell would be a step up. Turns out they are crappier than Acer.

I’d be happier if they gave me all of my money back. this thing is crap!
